Dh and I have had a name for both a boy and a girl for a LONG time, but recently, I have come across two DOGS with the name that we had picked for a girl. The name is "Sadie." I love it, but what if it becomes the next "Fifi?" What do you think?

I really like the name Sadie and I have to say ALOT of human names are used for animals. In my lifetime I had a cat named Gidget, a dog named Barrett, ex bf had dog named Chloe. For gosh sakes our current dogs name is Ginger and Cali (our cat) My bestfriend has two dogs: Max and Tasha

I say if you like it- go for it!

Well, I have a Fifi!! She is lovely! Fiona Isabella-Gwen. So..... Sadie is nice.... and there are all names for dogs and kids. They say open the back door and yell the name three times. If it doesn't roll off your tongue dont use it. So now add if a dog comes rethink it. LOL Good Luck!!

Thanks for the input, everybody!!! Your thoughts helped. I think we will stick with Sadie. If our baby comes!!! I'm now two days overdue and really anxious. :)

The only Sadie I've ever met was a dog, so that's what I think of at first, but its an ok name for a person too.

It was my rabbits bane when i was little. However, at the school where I work there is a Sadie (8) and I have never given her name a second thought until you have just mentioned it as a dog's name!!! I think it is pretty - Sadie Frost has done ok with it anyway!!!
