What do you think? I like the name Rae Clare. I want her to be called Rae Clare. Is this how I would spell it? Would it be Rae-Clare? DH does not like Rae Clare. Any other suggestions? =)

Our daughter's name is Eleanor Claire and we ofter call her Ellie Claire (but she always has the option of dropping the Claire too when she grows up) I also thought Emma Clare was really cute and Laura Claire or what about Elizabeth Clare or Lizzy Clare? I think it's the Rae that will give you problems finding a suitable matching name, but Rhianna Clare might work (it's a little long though) or spell it Rayanna and it kind of has the sound and look of a double first name.

Oh, now that you mention it -- I love the name Claris, too! Maybe even better than Clara. Claris is *another* nickname for dd Clare. How about Claris Rae?

I've got a hyphenated first name, Lee-ann. Let me tell you, it is difficult to get people to spell it correctly on official documents and even in everday life. I don't like having to spell both my first and last names all the time.

If you want to give your little girl an easier life, chose something easy to spell and classic.
