Down to 2 for 6th Child (girl)

Well we have narrowed it down to Alexandra or Audrey with the middle name of Grace for either one. Our other children are: Elizabeth (Beth), Nicholas (Nick), Katherine (Kate), James (Jack), and Samuel (Sam).
Some days I really lean towards Audrey Grace, it is so pretty. Then other days I change my mind and think I like Alexandra better, since it does seem to go better with the other names. Wish I could just make up my mind!
I was also thinking about Sasha as nickname for Alexandra. It is Russian, and not well known as a nickname for Alexandra especially where I live, in the southern US. When I told my dh he had never heard of it, and thought I was crazy, LOL.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Debi

A nickname for Alexandra will not be Alex because that is dh's boss's name and we are not real keen on using it because of that. If we do go with Alexandra the nn will either be Allie or Sasha (if I can convince dh Sasha is a real nn for it, LOL!)
But, I do still really like Audrey!
I've known three Sashas. Two are Russian men named Aleksander (not sure of the spelling, but I know there was a k in both of their names). The third is a woman named Alexandra.
I think it's a great nn for Alexandra. Here is more info on the name for your DH to see.

I think I'd go with Audrey Grace. I also like Alexandra but I don't know about the NN Sasha. Heres the thing I live in the south aswell and if you introduce her as Alexandra most people here are gonna NN her Alex or Lexi just because thats the norm.
HTH!
Again, I really, really, really dislike the name Audrey. I think it is my least favorite name in the entire world. OK, well, maybe Bertha is worse. I just hate the name. My dh loves it, though.
Maybe it is only because I know ALOT of Russian immigrants, but the Alexandra/Sasha nn is really NOT unusual, and I just love it. I love the name Alexandra AND the nn Sasha even more. I guess it is sort of like "Peggy" is a nn for Margaret and Bob for Robert. Neither really makes sense, but those nn are commonplace.
Another Alexandra I know has the nickname "Xangee" which evolved from "Xan"--(Zan) which makes her really, truly unique. :-)
Just as an aside, another fairly common Russian name in the US is Veronika. (My son's girlfriend...well, they are 12...) and there are a few others that I know with that name. The one in my son's class is always Veronika, but there is one in high school who goes by "Vero" (like Vero Beach)
Anyway, take care and have a happy baby!
Steph
