OK, we have had 2 other polls going and have gotten a lot of opinions. (Thank You) Although Bennett and Jaxon came out on top, here are our thoughts. We don't want the nicknames Ben or Jack. Teagen and Vaughn came in second, and we could deal with the nicknames Tea or V, but hopefully the original full name will prevail, elilminating a nickname. I know some of you think Teagen is too feminine for a boy, but we both agree that it could form to fit the "namee", being a boy. We are going for something different and distinct. Please let us know which you prefer, or any other ideas would be appreciated. Our first son is Mason York.
Teagen Patrick Humphries
Vaughn Patrick Humphries
(Patrick is a male family middle name that I would really like to pass on)
Thanks a lot for your help!!

We like Patrick as a midddle name. Just weren't sure how well it went with either if the first names. Thanks for your thoughts. Your boys are adorable!! A couple of other people also said they perfer the spelling Vaughan, but I think people would get the pronounciation wrong (I've never seen it spelled this way... looks like Vaw-gan would be pron.)

I have to say I absolutely love the names Bennett and Jaxon Humphries. Ben and Jack (Jax) sound so much better than Tea or V. Tea like you drink?!?! Teagen is a very trendy name that I would think everyone would be tired of within a few years. I guess you can see I don't like Teagen. Vaughn is ok. It would be better if I didn't associate it with someone I worked with. Ben and Jack are classics that are stylishly updated by making it Bennett or Jaxson. You can really emphasize to everyone that you want him to be called his full name. As I have and the full name has stuck.
Whatever his family calls him usually sticks. Mason sounds great with Bennet or Jaxon. Sorry I just thought I would let you know my opinion. I guess this should have gone on your poll but I haven't come across it.

My favorite is
Bennett Patrick Humphries (LOVE IT!!)

As for your question I prefer
Vaughn Patrick Humphries

Teagan is just fine for a boy :) I have a friend who is a girl named Teagan and I have always thought it sounded masculine. It reminds me a lot of Dagan and Keagan which are very male.

Thank you to all who have replied. We really appreciate the different opinions an advice. We have decided to go with Teagen Patrick Humphries. I know some of you really don't like Teagen, but we want something different that not everybody likes so that it does not become really popular within the next few years, as our first son's name has. Thanks again!! And good luck to everyone else!!

I like the name Teague for a boy much better than Teagen, it also makes it sound all boy to me. Teague Patrick sounds very handsome.

Vaughn is another great option though, it made it to the short list with my last baby.
