Down to two names....how do I choose?

I started with a LONG list of names, but I think I've narrowed it down to two. My problem? How in the world do I choose? I love them both equally. I suppose I can use one and "save" the other. I just feel like if I pick one, I'll regret not using the other and vice versa. Any advice? How did you finally end up choosing? FYI, my husband likes both, so that's not really helpful either.

Here are the names...mn's are yet to be determined but are not as much of a concern to me.

Lorelei Thomas
Julia Thomas

I had the same suggestion as the pp - wait until she's born.

I love the way Julia sounds with your last name. Liked Lorelei, it was okay. But Julia just SOUNDS better.

I love both, too! I'd say if you don't want the name to be popular go with Lorelei. If you want a name that's more common go with Julia. Other than that, guess I'm not much help as they are both pretty!

good luck,
Sunny

Why not hang on to both, wait until you are holding the baby girl in your arms and then decide. On one hand, you may be exhausted and delerious but it is not like you are starting from scratch. More likely you will look at her and just know. I went in to labor thinking he was going to be a Simon, but fully prepared to change it if it didn't feel right. (I didn't change it and he is a "Simon" through-and-through).
I have two girls names that I love and I can picture what each would look like, so if I eve have a girl I'll just wait until I see her!
