Eva maybe, not Evan. As you can probably tell, I am not one who is a fan of names usually used on boys, as girl names. There are exceptions, but with most, I really don't like the trend. (Emerson, Peyton, Morgan, Kendall are a few that I just can't see on a boy, but are traditionally considered a name for a boy.) But there are some out there that are just too "boy" sounding to me to be used on a girl.
I like it for a boy, not a girl! Sorry! But if you really love it for a girl, it's not terrible. I don't think it's one of those names that people would be surprised to hear a girl called.
I don't like just using a boy name on a girl, but there is a similar feminine name you may really like -- Eavan (traditionally pronounced like Eve-en, but I have also heard it as ayv-en, which is pretty as well)! HTH! :)

I much prefer it for a boy.
