BIG TIME congratulations on your upcoming arrival. Of your choices, I think my favorite girls name is Megan or Sidney. I would say Megan Alexandra is pretty or Megan Sidney are great! As for boys, I wouldn't use Cole with you ln. I think ANdrew and JOrdan are my favorites. Jordan Andrew or ANdrew Jordan are both cute! Good luck!

You may think I'm crazy but what about Alexandra Wayde N--- or Alexander Wade N--- since both male and female versions are on your list? That way Cassidy is named after you and #2 is named after DH. HTH!

Opinions on girls' names:

Lauren - nice
Hayley - I think this name has been beaten into the ground. Please, no more!
Sydney - nms but fine
Megan/Meghan - fine
Alexandra - fine
Madelyn - too many out there, and too many Maddies because of Madelines and Madisons
Alexia (Lexi)- fine
Sierra - don't love this one. Place names are nms.
Delaney - I don't love this trend

Boys:

Jordan - I think it's going to the girls
Andrew - yes
Alexander (Alex)- yes
Elijah - I don't love the Bibilical "ah" endings. Too serious next to Cassidy
Colton- reminds me of guns (Colt 45? or is that liquor?)
Cole - Cole Nichols does sound funny
Carter - nms
Cade/Caden - nms and I think they'll girls' names within 10 years.

Congratulations on the new baby! My thoughts:

For your girls names, going with Cassidy

I really like: Megan, Sydney and Delaney

My least faves: Hayley, Alexia, and Madelyn

Boys:

I actually love Wade as a fn and think it sounds great with your ln and Cassidy, but aside from that I like: Andrew, Elijah (esp with the nn Eli)

I don't like: Jordan (way too many of both genders) Colton/Cole (not a bad name, but doesn't fit w/ your ln), Cade/Caden

Hi there, Alison. Congratulations on #2! Your little girl is adorable! Here are my thoughts on the names for her new little sister or brother:

Girls:

Lauren-This is nms. It's very popular too.

Hayley-Aw, I love this one. Good job on the spelling too! Hailey & Haley look off, imo. Hayley & Cassidy are sweet for sisters. Maybe Hayley Alexandra Nichols?

Sydney--This is nms, but it's not bad. I know a lot of little Sydneys, & it's hard for kids to pronounce. It comes out as Cindy most of the boy. It is a nice match w/Cassidy though, being as they're both unisex names, but not really anymore. ;)

Megan/Meghan-This is also nms, but not bad.

Alexandra (Alex, Lexi)-This is pretty. I perfer Alexandria, but Alexandra seems a better match w/Cassidy. Alex is too boyish, & there are so many Lexis running around! It is cute though, but I perfer it spelled Lexie. How about Allie?

Madelyn-This is nice, but I perfer Madeline. Maddie is really common though, just to warn you.

Alexia (Lexi)-That's not awful, but I perfer Alexandra if you want a "Lexi" name.

Sierra-That's kind of nice. It seems a bit exotic w/Cassidy, but not bad.

Delaney-I like this one. Cassidy & Delaney are perfect together! Delaney Sierra Nichols?

Boys:

Jordan-I like this for a boy, but it is actually very unisex. That's just something to think about.

Andrew-I love this! It seems a bit mainstream w/Cassidy (& popular), but it's extreamly handsome. I love Andrew Nichols. Andrew Wade Nichols is fine.

Alexander (Alex)-That's nice. I like Andrew a bit more, but either one is great.

Elijah-That's nms, & it seems way too biblical next to the more playful sounding Cassidy, you know?

Colton/Cole (is this bad with last name?)-I like Cole, but Cole Nichols does sound weird.

Carter-I like this one! I like Andrew a bit more, but this is much better w/Cassidy. Carter Wade Nichols is perfect.

Cade/Caden-I don't like Caden, although Cade is nice. It's too close to Cassidy though, imo.

Hope this helps!

My vote goes for Madelyn Sierra Nichols & Caden Elijah Nichols!

(I think Caden and Cassidy sound ADORABLE together) I really like Sydney, but think that it runs into Cassidy.

Hi and congrats! I love the name Cassidy by the way.

Girls:
from your list I like Delaney very much with Cassidy- sounds great together, to me that's the winner...stop looking! :)

While I also like Lauren , Megan, Madelyn ( I like this spelling) and Alexandra ( but only like nn Ali but you go by that so in my book this isnt a good choice) I dont like them as much as Delaney in this case.

I'd suggest Delaney Alexandra ( Alexandra can be a loose variation of your name and both your girls can have a name for you- I love it!)

or you may like Delaney Lauren. I also know a girl named Delaina by the way.

Boys:
I like Colton Wade very much, I dont think it sounds bad at all. I also Like Alexander but it seems a bit mainstream next to Cassidy for my taste. BUT Alexander Wade is a nice name for your son- after both of you!

I like the sound of:

Jason, Alison, Cassidy and Delaney
Or
Jason, Alison, Cassidy and Colton

Good luck and HTH!

I love the name Delaney, have a granddaughter named that. I also think it would match up really well with Cassidy in both style and sound.

I think Lauren is bland, it went thru such a rush in the late 70s and 80s into the 90s, much too common to pair with Cassidy. Megan is also a bit 80s. Alexandra is somewhat traditional/classic for Cassidy, plus there are a lot of Alexandra's everywhere, lots of ages. Hayley is very very popular where I live. I really think if all the spellings would be combined it would be in the top 3 on all the lists. It is pretty, does match up fairly well with Cassidy though. Madelyn is becoming more popular and with all the millions of Madison's out there, the nickname Maddie is impossible to avoid with Madelyn too (and Madeline, which I know several of). I don't like Alexia, Alexa would be OK, I don't care for the nickname Lexi for any of those names. I like Sierra. It would match up well with Cassidy too. I also have a granddaughter name Sienna, which is similar but much less popular than Sierra.

my vote would go to Delaney

on the boys side I'd avoid the N-enders with Nichols. I like Colton, don't like Cole. I like Jordan except for the N-ender thing. not a fan of any of the others either, sorry.

how about Jared as an alternative to Jordan, without the N-ender. Jared Andrew Nichols. would sound good as a combo from your list.

good luck
