We are expecting our third child in March. We do not know the sex and are still undecided on whether or not we will find out; we did not find out for our first 2 children, both boys, but are leaning towards findingo ut this time.
As of now, there are a few names we like for girls. Here is the list, what do you think??
Janelle
Leah
Joelle
Elayna
As for the girl's middle name, I really would like to use Sass--it is my Mom's nickname since she was a child. Her real name is Sandra, but Sass seems to mean more to me for some reason.
Now for boys, we are stuck. The boys' middle names are my husband's first name and middle. Our sons names are:
Brendan Ryan (3 years old)
Aaron Michael (2 years old).
Our last name starts with 'G'
Please be honest in your thoughts, you won't hurt my feelings!
Thanks!

Your girl name choices are very pretty. I think any of them would work with your boys names.
Most would sound okay with Sass, though I'm not sure I would use that name on a child, JMO. I know it has special meaning to you. But to most of the world, it means impertinent, disrespectful speech; back talk. I think Sandra would be an easier choice for your child and would still honor your mom. Or how about using your mom's middle name or maiden name?
As for boys, my two boys each have their dads names as middle names (Michael and William). If we had had a 3rd boy, we were going to use a combination of our dads' names (Walter and Carl = Carter) as a middle name. Do you have another family member you'd like to honor? Or could you use a variation of your husband's name - Mitchell, Ryland or something similar as a middle name? Or you could use the same initials as your DHs name for your 3rd boy. That would be a special connection he could share with his dad.
Boys names that I like with Brendan and Aaron:
Sean
Kyle
Connor
Justin
Jeffrey
Nicholas
Matthew
Jonathan
Craig
Drew
Tyler
Phillip
Evan
My favorite out of your list is Elayna and it sounds cool with Sass...
I also really like Leah and Janelle
I have to compliment you on your sons names, I had Brandon (close to yours) and Aaron on my boy list, however, I had 2 daughters...Rebecca Leigh (Becca) and Brittany Jade. I also really like the names Jordyn, Victoria (Tori) and Emily for a girl and Dalton for a boy.
Good Luck
So you don't think that Sass is too weird or sounds bad? I am still trying to convince the DH of using it, he said we should use my name and middle name instead since we used both of his already for the boys.
Thanks for your thoughts!
I like all your girl name choices. Leah is one of my all-time favorites, and I much prefer Elayna over Alayna. Don't like Sass at all though.
For boys, maybe your maiden name or your dad's name for the middle name? I'm sure you'll get some great suggestions from the others for first names!
Good luck and congratulations.
I really like Elayna.

expecting baby number two November, 2008!!
For boys, have you thought of Luke, Kyle, Justin, or Eric?
The boy name are an issue because I have a very large extended family--my husband is one of 9 and 2nd from the youngest, so there are a lot of other kids before mine that took a lot of great names--both boys and girls!
Kyle is my best friends little one, so I can't use that.
I have a nephew Justin that we see all the time, so thats not an option.
Luke is another one that is already used...........see my problem???
I love all those names and had actually wanted to use them but others beat me to it.
What about the name Dalton? Doesn't sound good with Brendan and Aaron, does it?
Thanks!
I was thinking that if we did Elayne, that we'd call her Laynie (not sure how to spell that), and that is if we nickname her at all. We aren't one for nicknames though. (Although I know others would give her nicknames.) Both our boys have names that you really can't nickname--Brendan and Aaron so its not really an issue there.
A lot of people will know that Sass is my Mom's nickname. Her entire family calls her that and some of my Dad's family does, too. The problem will be convincing my husband to go along with it!
Thanks!
Theresa
How about using Layna?
I really like Layna! Thanks for the suggestion!
