I'd go with Mackinley Paige, as I find it more interesting. (Though waiting until middle of labor, groaning really loud and springing your favorite on him seems like a good option at this point.) *grin*

McKinley -- I think it flows best with your other names. My only hesitation is that it would give you three presidents in the family.

Perhaps you should print out many of these responses, wave them in front of dh and say "See! I TOLD you people would catch on to the Presidential/"ken" things right away!" LOL You might also mention that you're trying to find a name as perfect as your other dds', and it doesn't seem fair of him to be so inflexible. After all, SHE's the one that will have to live with it, not him. ;)

thanks for the responses-still out on a fence here...funny what started as being family names turned into presidents...other family surnames are....don't laugh...brace yourself....jones....ford....dallison...richardson....gray.....pegg...etc etc....brooke....micah cute name BUT my best girlfriend here in CO who is due 3 weeks after me....and already has a jade alaina is naming #2 girl mica/micah...going with the rock theme i guess. in the end we will probably have to put a bunch of ideas in a hat and just pick one. i guess the more kids you have the harder it gets.had i been my parents having had 8 then adopted 4 more-easy for them picking names so original like john, david, janet, mary, isabel etc...janet oh i HATE my name!

Oh, so true! I also have three girls, and it's amazing how many names for future children that cuts out. Either they sound too similar (or ARE too similar, sharing a common root or something) -- Delaney, Donovan and any "Eve" names are out with Devanie, Catriona, Tate and any -lyn endings for Kate, nearly any -la names/nns -- Lila, Lola, Leila, Lula -- and most A fns, especially Av- names like Ava, Aveline, Avonlea, Avalon etc. for Abigail/Aila.

Not all names I'm dying to use or anything, but you get the idea. ;)

Of course we could have avoided that problem if we'd just given the first three *rhyming* names like a woman at a restaurant once hopefully inquired (she was disappointed when I told her their names did not, in fact, rhyme ROFL). Hmm ... I suppose I COULD have gone with Anna, Hannah and Savannah, saving Montana for a fourth (either gender LOL), but a family friend already has two girls named Hannah and Savannah, so that might have gotten a little confusing. Or even Cate, Duplicate and Replicate (all called Cate, of course)! But then those don't exactly rhyme, so she might not have liked them.

first of all, I really LOVE your daughters names! I love 'boyish' names on girls. Some of my favs are Camryn, Dylyn (this is my nieces names) Evan, Ryan, Chase, Blake, Hunter, Tyler, Aidan, Avery, Reilly, Hayden & Maeson ... just had to share that someone else loves the names that you have named your little angels!

out of the two that you have selected I think that both of them are great but I really like Mackenzie Brooke the best ... maybe because Brooke is another fav of mine!

Great choices! I already have a MacKenzie, so of course I LOVE IT, but to fit with your names I would recommend McKinley. Good Luck!!
