We have decided that we are going to name our daughter(if it is a girl) Madison Shae nn Madi/Maddie/Madie. The little boy(if we have one is going to be Mason Nicholas. I like Nicholas better than Thomas, so that got most of the family's vote. What do you think??

Maddie is a very cute nn and I do like Mason Nicholas. Congrats on deciding.

I knew a lot of Madison's when I was a preschool teacher, but oddly enough, non of them went by Maddie, so I think you picked a great name to go with your dd, its common, but yet you will use a nn that I haven't heard a whole lot, good choice! I love Mason it is on my short list if my second is a boy! Great choices!

Madison Shae has good flow. If it were me, I'd name her Shae Madison and call her Shae. Maddie is a good match to big sister Emma, though.
I prefer Nicholas Mason or Mason Thomas- either sounds slightly better, IMO, than Mason Nicholas because of the running together of the n- sounds.

Best wishes, Ginger

hello!! i like both your choices-my only problem with madison is its really getting common. a friend of mine just had a baby and named her madison nikole. i like mason-my brother in law is named mason henry. its not that common...probably why i like it...i love the name nicholas...good luck!

I prefer Mason Thomas to Mason Nicholas. Probably because, like a previous poster said, the 'n' sounds run together.
