DH and I just got home from the doctors. We are having and boy and a girl!!! we couldnt be happier!

Anyways the Boy;s name will either be Kyler or Rhett with the mn William (after my grandpa) mn is final

For the girl however we have the list narrowed down a little bit

Carrie/Keri

Delayna

Caylee

Taryn

MN will either be Elin or Erica (Elin pro. ee-lyn after my g-ma or Erica after my dad and other grandpa both named Eric)

Please what combos do you like best. all suggestions are welcome.

TIA

Kristin

I would definitely go with Rhett...Kyler is cute but it is is a crossover name like Tyler became and chances are he would be in a class with a girl Kyler/Kylie/Kaylee etc. Rhett would never get confused to gender

so Rhett William gets my vote!

to go wth Rhett William I would chose Carrie/Keri.

I think Kyler and Caylee would be too cutesly...you would forever be tonguetwisted calling both of them...

Taryn is okay...just nms. Doesn't match style of Rhett. Delayna is kind the same for me.

Would it be possible to do Kerilyn Erica? It kind of combines a bit of Elin in there too...and you can use Keri for short.

I think Rhett and Kerilyn sound very cute together!

Good luck!!!

I like both Kyler and Rhett, but I think Kyler sounds better with all your girl choices. As for girls, they are all nice as well. I prefer the spelling of Kari instead of Carrie or Keri. Kari Elin sounds nice. Delayna Elin is also pretty. I prefer Kayleigh instead of Caylee, with Erica/Erika. And Taryn is wonderful, but I don't like it with either middle name option. JMO. :-)

Congratulations!

I think Rhett William is a great name. Kyler seems very trendy. I like Kyle though. Kyle William is also very nice.

For girls,

Carrie/Keri - this seems dated and like a nn. I would like this as a nn for a longer name - maybe Caris, Carolyn, or Caroline (which could honor Elin from your gma). Caroline Erica or Carolyn Erica with nn Carrie would be a great combination with Rhett William.

Delayna - I like this one, but it doesn't seem to match in style with Rhett. I could see using it if you go with Kyler. I knew a Delana in school (this spelling).

Caylee - This name is so overused in our area. Too popular for my tastes.

Taryn - I prefer Tara. Taryn is okay. My sister's name is Caryn (Karen) - you could use that and have the nn Carrie/Cary.

Also, have you considered Erin as a middle name or first name - it combines both Eric and Elin and honors all the family members.

Good luck and congrats again.

Wow! What great news! I have a boy and a girl---the "million dollar" family, they call it!!!

The perfect two names just jumped out at me---Delayna Elin & Rhett William. Rhett & Delayna!! I love it! Also, since you like nn & dh doesn't, Delayna doesn't just scream nn, but Layne, Layney, or Layna is sweet if YOU want to at some point down the road. Congratulations and please keep us posted! Take care, Ginger

Congratulations!

I LOVE Rhett William. What a great name - one that will grow with a child to adulthood, IMO.

Well, of course I vote for the name Carrie! Most people spell my name correctly - if they ask all I have to do is say "spelled the traditional way" and they get it. But I also love the spelling Cari, which also lends itself to the alternate prn of CAH-ree.

Carrie Erica doesn't quite work. So I vote for Carrie Elin or Cari Elin.

Blessings to you!

Carrie

I love the name Kyler. That is so different and neat! I like Taryn and Calee both. I think I like Calee better but probably just because it is my nieces name only spelled Kaliegh Beth. I think Calee Elin sounds better tham Erica. Let us know and CONGRATULATIONS!!
