First Name ideas for Deborah middle name

Hi there... My mother's full name is Deborah Elaine and I have every intention of using one of those names if my baby is a little girl. My dh hates Elaine... he thinks of Seinfeld. So I am researching what first names would go well with Deborah as a middle name. Our last name starts with D... Any ideas would be very appreciated and would probably help appease my stubborn husband! :) Thanks!

well, it would be a lot easier to use Elaine as a middle name than Deborah - and especially if your last name starts with D.
because of "Seinfeld" he hates the name Elaine - that's ridiculous
I would not consider Elaine as a first name for anybody in this era - it's just kind of dated to the era of what I'm sure is your mom's age - probably something from the early 40s to the mid-60s (the age, not the year)
Elaine makes a great middle name because of the accent being on the 2nd syllable. It would pair well with most anything - any number of syllables.
you're going to be more restricted with the components of Deborah - all A-enders will be out, that's for sure.
here are some I think would work reasonably well if you must use Deborah. the first names should not have the accent on the 2nd syllable - those will not flow well into Deborah, where the emphasis on Deb - instead of Elaine were the emphasis is on Laine.
Amy Deborah D____
Brittney Deborah
Chelsea Deborah
courtney Deborah
Carly Deborah
Emily Deborah
Hailey Deborah
Hilary Deborah
Holly Deborah
Kelsey Deborah
Molly Deborah
Mallory Deborah
Naomi Deborah
Stephanie Deborah (this one's iffy)
Tiffany Deborah
Torri Deborah
Whitney Deborah
Zoe Deborah
as I went thru the alphabet and tried to match up - I realized that anything with a B or D in the middle of the first name also didn't flow well into Deborah. And while I tried to find some which didn't end in the long E sound, the few I tried just did not sound right to me.
Don't end up picking a first name you really don't like to force yourself into using Deborah as a middle name. CHOOSE your first name that you really love without any regard to the middle name - then decide if either Deborah or Elaine would pair with it (my bet is that the likelihood is that Elaine will, but Deborah will not unless it's on that above list of mine).
Tell hubby he won't even be using the middle name when he talks to her.
let me know what names you really were considering before this all came up - and I'll try to advise - or do a form of one of the names. for instance - I wanted my daughter to have something of my mother's name in the middle too - but I don't like my Mom's name - Anna. And I don't like seeing Ann in the middle, it's too common there, too plain.
so I stuck a J in front of it and her middle name is Janna. My Mom knows it's for her and she thought it was pretty.
good luck
