First name suggestions, have middle name
| Mon, 01-08-2007 - 4:52pm |
We just found out we're expecting #3 so you'll probably see a lot of me in the next 8 months LOL!
We have 2 girls, Carina Faith and Amia Grace. If this next one is a girl, I would like to use Marcella as the middle name (my mother's name). We have a long last name, so the first name would need to be on the shorter side. We like girly names that can stand on their own (not much into nicknames) but that aren't popular.
A few names on our list (OK, my list!) currently:
Alexa Marcella
Leila Marcella
Violet Marcella
I would love some more ideas!

Here's a couple ideas:
Audrey Marcella
Elise Marcella
Ava Marcella
Lainey Marcella
Hmm, that's all I can think of right now.
Some more ideas:
Vivian Marcella
Sibley Marcella
Daryn Marcella
Jasmine Marcella
Quinn Marcella
Lauren
AJ, enjoying life with C.
Violet is gorgeous. Alexa is way too trendy and doesn't hold a candle to Carina and Amia. Leila is okay, but kind of similar in the trendiness to Alexa. How about...
Talia
Devanie
Leah
Sasha
Evelyn
Adelyn/Ada/Adelaide
Bronwen
Elena
Delia
Dara
Dina
Della
HTH, I like Carina, Amia, & Delia Marcella a lot.

Wow - thanks for all the great suggestions! There are a few I like (Taryn, Anastasia, Amelia) but can't use for various reasons. I really like the following ones:
Delia (is this deal-ya or de-lee-uh?)
Talia (same here - ta-lya or tuh-lee-uh?)
Evelyn
Ada/Adelaide
Collette
Ellerie
Audrey
Ava
Jasmine
Vivian
Eve
I'm especially intrigued by girl names that don't end in "a". I love names that end in "a", but since we have 2 of them already, I'm leaning towards not doing it this time.
You ladies are awesome!
Talia is tal-yuh. Delia is a bit more complicated. It kind of sounds like a mix of both deal-ya and de-lee-yuh, depending on how quick you say it. I say deal-yuh I think.
