Thoughts on First Name and Middle Name having the same initial? For some reason, A.A. names have kept popping up for me - I don't know why that is or where that comes from, but those are the combos I keep coming up with. My last name starts with a "G."

Do you think it sounds awkward to have both the first and middle name starting with the same initial?

It wouldn't concern me if they were names that I loved and they sounded good. You don't use children's MNs very often. You kids will appreciate a meaningful MN, and like I said you and DH need to love it too!

Good Luck

I would only worry about the initials if they spelled out something vulgar. LOL. Otherwise, I'm sure it's fine. It didn't seem to hinder E.E. Cummings any.

I don't mind it. It does depend on the name- which combos were you thinking of? Especially if it is a family name in the mn position, I think it can work. Depends on the combos though. For example, Annelise Adele sounds lovely to me, but something like Anna Adele is a bit too "a" heavy.

My own name is a double initial ---- Karol Kathleen. My niece is Chloe Catherine and I also know an Eden Elizabeth. I think all of these names sound fine. Note though that all of these names are shorter names coupled with longer names.
