FN to go with Jakob as MN

Hi there!
My name is Susie and my husband and I are pregnant with our first. I think we've settled on Elisabeth Grace (nn Ellie)(Grace is a family name) for a girl.

However, we have no idea for a boy. The middle name will definitely be Jakob as that is my husband's first name and tradition in his family is that the dad's 1st name becomes the son's mn. I think that is a nice tradition. However, I feel like NOTHING goes with Jakob. Am I crazy? :)

Our last name is 3 syllables and starts with a B. As you can tell from our girl's name, I like traditional names. My DH does too, for the most part but he doesn't want anything too close to the top of the popular names list. Names he's liked were: Ethan (nixed because he decided it was becoming too popular) and Ian (nixed by me :) just because I didn't like it :) )

Anyway, we both sort of like Evan. But would love more ideas. Any thoughts?

TIA!

Since he likes Ian and you both like Evan, what about Sean/Shawn or Owen? They are other variants of John, and I think Sean Jakob and Owen Jakob have a great flow.

Some other ideas you might like...
Thomas Jakob
Elliott Jakob (unless you're set on someday using Elisabeth for a girl)
Calvin Jakob
Stephen/Steven Jakob
Gavin Jakob
Adam Jakob
Aaron Jakob
Levi Jakob
Zachary Jakob
Alexander Jakob
William Jakob, nn Will or Liam
Christopher Jakob

Hope that gives you a few more ideas!

I think Jakob actually flows pretty well with most names, so that's an easy one to match.

How about Everett Jakob, you could call him Rhett? Or maybe Beckett Jakob nn Beck?

Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I guess I am just so used to hearing Jakob as my DH's first name that must be why it sounds "weird" to me as a middle name. :)

Great lists to work from!
