Thank you so much for the list.
Alot of those are really nice. I've always loved french names for little boys especially the name Etienne, Joan Etienne and Joan Luc. But it's a girl so now I'm thinking about Cosette Laurette, Brigitte Laurette is cute too.

Great. How do you pronounce Philomene. I haven't heard that one before. I really like Cosette and Laurette but the "ette" in both names seems odd to me. Cosette Laurette. Same with Gennivein and Lucienne. They both have the same ending sounds. Do I make sense at all!!! I love all of your name choices but not necessarily together. What about Gennivein Laurette or Gennivein Dupree. Just a thought. I'm so glad to find someone else who is interested in French names!

Yes I understand. It does all kind of rhyme. I just don't want the names to sound to randomly thrown in. Phiomene is prononced Phil´o`mene it means the nightingale. I think the name Philomene is gorgous. I like Philomena too. Cosette, Laurette, Gennivein it's so hard to choose.

I know what you mean. I go over and over the list and see new things everytime I do. Philomene is pretty and different. Another one that I quite like is Tatienne. And have you known anyone that has used Sennett? I kinda like it too. It's not quite as feminine as some of the others. I really thought someone would go for Abella because the "Belle" names are so popular right now.

Are there French names that would be considered Trendy or Over used?
