Friend needs help with a name!

A friend of mine is having her 6th child. She is not sure if it is a boy or a girl. She has 2 boys and 3 girls, she is having a hard time thinking of a name to go with her other kids names.

Harrison Mitchell
Landon Marshall

Taryn Mikaela
Torrence Makenzie
Teagyn Michelle

She is not sure if she has another girl is she should use a "T" name and if she has a boy she is not sure what name she likes to go with Harrison and Landon.

Some of the names she likes are:
Boys----Andrew, Colin, Henry, and Bronwyn (I like Bronwyn the best)
Girls with a "T"----Tatum, Tana, Tru
Girls without a "T"----Brynn, Chesney, Logyn, Marley

Hope you can help!

Just an FYI on changing letters at this point.....we were doing J's for girls and C's for boys when we got to #6 we could NOT agree on a J name for a girl....we both loved Chloe and dh said at least it was one letter or the other. And, you know what? It fits her PERFECTLY! She is unique and spunky and having the only girl C doesn't phase her a bit, of course she is only 4.

Name possibilities:

Boys:

Caden Michael
Calen Michael
Camden Michael
Jaxon Michael
Logan

Girls:

Tirzah Marie
Trinity Moriah

OH....before I forget, there is a GREAT website and email digest for those who have or have had at least 4 children in 8 years. If your friend is interested let me know and I will "connect" her.

GOOD LUCK!

Lisa, honored wife to Jeff and proud MOMYS to Jalissa Faith (12), Caleb Joseph (11), Cole Michael (8), Jalayna Hope (7), Jaden Joy (6), Chloe Kay (4), Jarah Helen (14 mo) and due 1/19/2007

I don't think she should use another "T" name unless she really loves it. To be honest, having kids with the same starting letter is cheesy IMO.

Andrew- very nice and love the nn Drew
Colin- LOVE this name!
Henry- a nice classic, nms although I know many people on this board love it. I don't think it goes well with her other kids names though
Bronwyn- I have only ever heard this on girls... maybe Bronwen would make it look more masculine, that "y" throws me off

Tatum- cute and spunky
Tana- okay
Tru- nmsaa, seems cheesy

Brynn- love this, very nice
Chesney- I think of the country singer Kenny Chesney, nmsaa
Logyn- the name is spelt L-o-g-a-n... and its a boys name
Marley- cute

My favourites for her with Harrison, Landon, Taryn, Torrence, & Teagyn are:
Boys
#1) Colin
#2) Jeffrey
#3) Kyle
Girls
#1) Kristen
#2) Alaina
#3) Brynn

Hmm, the styles are very different for the boys and girls. Sticking with the different gender styles, I think the best choices from the list are Colin and Tatum.

Andrew is fine, but not my favorite name.
Henry is too similar to Harrison, IMO, esp. if Harrison ever ends up using the nn Harry.
Bronwyn is okay, but it's just not my style.

None of the girl names are really my style -- Tatum just seems to fit the best with the other girls. However, if your friend doesn't really love any of the T names, I don't think she should pick one just to fit in with her sisters. Eventually, the kids will grow up and won't always be listed with their siblings, so how well the names match won't matter. If she goes with a non-T name, Brynn is my favorite.

Good luck to your friend!

Boys----Andrew, Colin, Henry, and Bronwyn.

Bronwyn/Bronwen is a girl's name, so I would DEFINITELY NOT use that for a boy! Colin is the nicest with Harrison and Landon.

Other boy name ideas:
Corbin
Dalton
Hamilton
Pierce
Quintin
Sawyer
Spencer

Girls with a "T"----Tatum, Tana, Tru
- I like Tana best of these 3.
Other T ideas:
Tierney
Tabitha
Tessa

Girls without a "T"----Brynn, Chesney, Logyn, Marley -
I like Brynn!

If she likes Bronwyn - please suggest using this for a girl. It is most definiitely a female name.
Other ideas for a girl:
Britta
Kenna
Emery
Bryony

I like Henry & Andrew the best, but I think Colin goes better w/ her other kids' names. I love Bronwen for a girl. I know that the -yn w/ Welsh names is masculine, but I think Bronwen is typically for a female. I'm not aware of it being used as a male named as Bronwyn.
I like Tatum from her girls list best. I also like True (this spelling only) as a mn only. Brynns for a girl is nice, I don't care for the others at all. Bronwen True would be my best suggestion for a girl. Brenna is nice, too.

Well, my friend found out today that she is having TWINS, I can't believe it!!! Not sure if boys or girls or one of each yet (not sure if she is going to find out). I told her about the name Bronwyn/Bronwen for a girl and she kinda likes it. Do you think that if she had 2 girls and named them Brynn and Bronwyn it would sound silly? She really likes this combo a lot. Her other dilemma is that she likes Brynn Tatum and Bronwyn True, would this be silly since the other kids have all "M" middle names. Her dh said that he wants to keep all "T" fn for girls and all "M" middle names for either sex. He likes Tatum Madison and True Marley. What do you think? She also likes Colin Maxwell. If 2 boys, what other name to go with Colin?

Keep up with the suggestions, everyone has a lot of great ideas.

Maybe she can talk dh into switching it up, I much prefer Marley True over True Marley, that way they'll still have the T and the M, just not in the same order. The other could be Madison Tatum, or somthing else she likes. The combo. I like best is Bronwyn and Tatum as first names for twin girls (in her situation). They fit the same style IMO, without being too matchy like Brynn and Bronwyn. Good luck to her!

i would continue with a T for a girl. dont want her wondering why her name is different than her sisters (i know a family with their kids a J's, and their mom considered going with another letter on the 4th, and her mom told her of another family who did that, and the child wondered if they were adopted cause they had a different letter name). all the girl's names are unisex names, she may like to continue with that styling, tho that would be more flexible than with another lettered girl's name. of listed i like Tana the best.

most any name would go with the boys names.. tho i'd stear clear of Henry, too similar to Harrison (Harry & Henry are nn for each other.) i like Bronwyn too, tho i like Bronson better, would be Hollywood affiliated too, like his brothers, tho of course, that isn't necessary to continue with that.

hth... *kit
