Can you please help me find the name Kirin? (quer-in/or maybe pronounced like corrine? or just maybe ker-in) Im compelled to that name, and Ive heard/seen is before. Im pretty sure its swedish (but not totally sure). Anyways, can you help me find out how its prnounced and what it means. I cant find it, grrr.
And if anyone else knows/has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated! =)
TIA
Kristin

Hey Sweetie,
The second I saw that name, I knew it sounded familiar, and then I realized where I'd heard it before. "Kirin" is a Japanese beer named after a giraffe.

I've also found that Kirin is also a mythological Chinese dragon.
Here is a webpage that says more:

Personally, I think Kirin is a pretty name, esp. appropriate for a child that is long or tall. :o)

But you could take Karin, Karina or Kerstin instead.
