I was just wondering what are the full names for the nickname "Kit". I like it for a boy or a girl. I doubt DH would approve but I'm just curious. Thanks alot!

For boys, Kit is an old nn for Christopher. For girls, you used to see Kitty as a nn for Katherine, so I think Kit would follow. I could also see it with anything with a K and a strong t...Kirstin, Kristen, Katrina, etc.

i love the nn Kit, as well.

traditionally for girls, Katherine, nn Kit, grade school friend would went by Kathy, we called her Kit-Kat sometimes. any varient of Katherine, Katriana, Katrine (have you heard Spanish accent saying of Katt-trinn? i love how it sounds that way), or even Kate
