Harper Grace: Nice. I'd really stop looking right here.
Sloane Elisabeth: I want to like it, but all I can think of is the bad guy on "Alias."
Summer Holland: Mmmm...summers in Holland are lovely.
Harriet Abigail (Hattie): This is a different feel than your others, but I like it.
Emersen Sailor (Emery): Emerson has pretty much run its laps out...and I don't get Sailor on a girl.
Laken Hope (Lake): I like Larkin/Lark on a girl, but Lake feel masculine. (Must be a Freudian thing about water--feel the same way about River and Brooks, too.)
Larkin Presley: I like Larkin; Presley just makes me think of Elvis who was SO not feminine.
Parker McKenzie: Nice name for a boy.
Addisen Piper: I could happily see this join Emerson on the trends of yesterday list. But Piper is interesting as a mn.
Avery Lucia (Ava): Ditto Addison and Emerson.
Tatum Ruby (Tate): I don't like Tate as a nn (SO male,) but I like Tatum, and Ruby works with it.
Adelaide Claire: I could see this if you went the Harriet rather than Harper route.
Gracelyn Daisy (Gracie): Graceland...
Eden Finlee: Eden, okay...Finley, male.
Madeleine Lucille (pron. Mah-deh-line NOT Mah-deh-lynne): You might have more luck getting the pronunciation with Madeline...the whole i-before-e-except-after-c-and-sounds-like-weigh thing would be an issue here. Like Lucille, though...it was my grandma's mn.
Meredith McKinley: This feels male. I know Meredith is feminine now, but not so long ago, it was male and McKinley just makes me think of Major William McKinley (plus the whole Mc- thing...)
Ivy Reese: Like Ivy. Reese on a girl always feels derivative to me.
Pippa Scarlett: Still can't see Pippa as a formal name.
Stella Rowan (Ella): Like Stella, don't see the need (or stickyness) of a nn. Rowan on a girl is just "eh" for me.
Shiloh Violet: Honestly, just sounds like two new-generation Hollywood names on one child. Like Violet itself, though.
Thank you so much for the input. You really opened my eyes to many qualities and not-so-great things of my name choices. I never realized that Shiloh (Brangelina) and Violet (Ben+Jen) were two celebrity names, I knew they were celebrities childrens names but I didnt realize what I was doing by putting them together. Shiloh Violet is
Harper Grace - This is perfectly nice, although Grace is the go-to middle name at the moment, so it is getting pretty boring.
Sloane Elisabeth - I love Elisabeth, spelled this way! Sloane I just can't get in to, it sounds masculine to me.
Summer Holland - I like Summer, not so much Holland, but both word-names together is a bit much.
Harriet Abigail (Hattie) - Love Hattie, so cute! Great name.
Emersen Sailor (Emery) - Emerson and Emery are both masculine, and Sailor is just a little too out there for my liking.
Laken Hope (Lake) - Not my style.
Larkin Presley - Definitely not my style.
Parker McKenzie - Very masculine, with those names together!
Addisen Piper - Piper is cute, but Addison not so much. Very popular and trendy.
Avery Lucia (Ava) - Ava Lucia would be fabulous - but definitely not Avery, its a boys name.
Tatum Ruby (Tate) - Tatum is ok, Tate is not my style for a girl.
Adelaide Claire - Fabulous, really beautiful.
Gracelyn Daisy (Gracie) - Gracelyn sounds very made up to me. Grace is lovely in the first name spot, and I love Daisy.
Eden Finlee - Eden is ok, Finlee is not - its a boys name, and the -ee ending is awful, in my opinion.
Madeleine Lucille (pron. Mah-deh-line NOT Mah-deh-lynne) - Gorgeous name, I love it, but if you want it pronounced -line, I would spell it Madeline. Madeleine pronounced Madeline is just asking for trouble!
Meredith McKinley - Not great, Meredith feels dated to me, and McKinley is trendy.
Ivy Reese - Ivy is darling, it will grow up very well. I love Reese for both boys and girls.
