My uncle is Daniel nn Dan, and they named their second daughter Danae in his honor (their older daughter is named after my aunt). I've always thought that was very pretty, and she gets a lot of compliments on it. It's one of those names that is unique without being weird or made up, so it gets a lot of positive attention. It's very definitely feminine and it has that magic 2-syllable structure where the emphasis is on the last syllable, making it flow beautifully with almost any first name. (It's the same structure as popular middle names like Marie, Michelle, Renee, etc.)

There is always the famous, Danielynn. I don't know if that would work for a middle name or not just depending on the other names.
