I have a tough last name to pair a first name with. The last name is Landenwich, it sounds just like it is spelled. I don't want anything currently in the top 100. Thanks in advance for the ideas.

Which nationality is that? Do you want a balance and use a name that is of the same or similar origin?

1st suggestion....simple first name...one or two syllables only.

I like Brooke, but that is my older brother's name and my little brother has already called dibs on the name Brooklyn

I've been told by my husband's family that it is Dutch. We aren't looking to match the origin. My favorite at the moment is Mallory with the nn Mali. But the meaning of Mallory is unlucky.

I also really like Brooke. I agree that a 1 or 2-syl name is best.
Brooke Landenwich
Sadie Landenwich
Jade Landenwich
Lara Landenwich
Nikki Landenwich
Brynn Landenwich
Angela (Angie) Landenwich

I really like Angela and Sadie.

I think a longer name would sound nice with that last name too. Something with 3 syllables to match.

Natalie
Stephanie
Mallory
Madison
Abigail
Andrea
Samantha
Nicolette
Makayla

A shorter name sounds kinda lost against a long last name like that. You need something strong to go with it. :)

A short name or nn would sound best. The baby name books of the Beyond Jennifer and Jason series are the best organized and most fun to read, imo. Try them out!

With a long last name, I would use a simple, one syllable first name (or one syllable nick name for a longer name).

Eve
Mae or May
Kate
Beth
Kim
etc.

I was also going to suggest Ann, but that might be too much with LANdenwich.
