Hello! I just wanted to take a poll. We have 3 names we're considering if we have a girl. They are Samantha, Quinn and Drew. Any favorites? The middle name will be Hawkins, a family name.

Thanks for your opinion!

Samantha- Samantha Hawkin sounds the best together from your choices, it is also a nice name I just dislike the nn Sam on a girl.

Quinn - Quinn Hawkin sounds very male to me, so if your looking for a girls name I would say no to this one. Just my opinion sorry.

Drew- Same as above- Drew Hawkin sounds very male. The only female Drew I have ever heard of is Drew Barrymore.

I think Samantha Hawkin is a great name. I think if you like the other two more they should be paired with more girly middle names. IMO. Good luck with the name hunt!

That's a funny top 3-- Samantha is so different from the other two (the others are ambisexual adn Samantha is sort of over-the-top feminissima). I think with mn Hawkins, I prefer Samantha. If you chose Quinn or Drew (and of these, I much prefer Drew), I'd pick a decidedly feminine mn:

Drew Elizabeth
Drew Catherine
Drew Allison

Drew Hawkins is just pure boy!

I agree with most of the others. I like Quinn and Drew for a girl if you would put it with a very feminine mn. I like both of them better than Samantha but not with Hawkins. If you are using Hawkins then I would definately use Samantha. Good luck! I have a little niece named Quincy and I like it too. Cute nn for Quinn.

Samantha is the only name you have listed that I would choose. Drew and Quinn are all boy to me, like naming a little girl Bruce. Samantha also has the nn potential of Sam if you really do like the unisex thing, but she has a girlier name to fall back on if she prefers.

I totally agree with the previous poster. Samantha is a beautiful name.....Samantha Hawkins sounds great......and you have the unisex nn of Sam. Quinn and Drew are very masculine sounding.

I think you and I may be the only ones on this board that love these kinds of names. I LOVE boys names used on girls. Names my husband and I have considered are Chandler, Carter, and even Anderson (nn Annie) for a daughter, if we have another one. I LOVE Quinn, and I think it is great because she won't be surrounded by them. Drew and Samantha are also nice choices. I don't think you can go wrong!

I love Quinn for a girl. My dd has a friend from her dance class named Quinn and she is just adorable. Her middle name is Emery. I also know a teenage girl named Quincy. That is cute too!
