shouldn't this be the responsibility of the twins parents, not you?

sorry to be abrupt like that, but you don't get to choose the names.

if the parents have a list and you feel like asking for comments about that list on here, or if they have a specific need and are having trouble finding a name to fit that need, that's different, but you shouldn't be compiling YOUR list to give to them

I like the names you've proposed. If they were mine, I'd prefer Mark or Marc Alexander to Marcus Alexander and Adrienne Irene to Adrianna Irene, but I tend to go for plainer names anyway.

I can't pick a favorite!

Oh! Well, then, I have to say your children have good taste in names!

I guess you're needing some suggestions for the new kids instead of praise for the existing ones. Let's see if I can come up with some ideas.

For a boy:

Patrick Thomas
Andrew Miles
Daniel Watson
Benjamin Robert

For a girl:

Cecilia Marilyn
Stephanie Eileen
Susannah June
Janella Marie

Without knowing the parents' taste, it's hard to make good suggestions, but I'll try anyway. :)

If I were having G/B twins, I would consider the following:

Selah and Crispin
Corliss and Linden
Beatrice and Stellan
Nola and Calder
Rowan and Cassiel "Cass"
Antonia and Gibson
Blythe and Leland
Jemima and Ambrose

More mainstream suggestions (or as close to mainstream as I get these days, LOL):

Cecily and Elias
Charlotte and Henry
Maisie (alone or as NN for Margaret) and Sebastian
Tabitha and Tristan
Sheridan and Wesley
Clara and James
Daria and Fletcher

I think it's so cute that you're helping your kids finding names for their babies.

I noticed an M preference for the girls first names. Here are some I like.

Mariana/Marianne
Marilia
Mirella
Micaela
Michelle
Milla

I have a very good friend who is the youngest of four girls. To name the girls, the parents played around with the name of their first born Adriana and came up with:

Ariadna( my favorite)
Andiara
Andaira(my friend who we call Nina)

Good Luck,
Danielle

Good for you, YankeeGirl! It is wondeful that you are helping out your kids. My parents made lots of suggestions for our son, and now for our daughter. I think it is nice that you want to be involved. I am sure in the end they will make thier own choice regardless of who throws out names. I think some people might forget how excited a grandmother also gets and that she just wants to be a part of the fun too! Congratulations!!!
