Griffin and...?

I'm looking for boy names that aren't unisex, aren't too popular and aren't too difficut to spell/pronounce (i.e. Matt Lauer's son Thijs). It's not a total deal breaker, but I'd also like to find a name that has a nn. With our son Griffin we call him Finn and Finny a lot and occasionally Griff.

I am so excited to see what you come up with. Thus far, DH and I keep throwing around names, but we just don't seem to be finding "the one". I'm not pg, we're just TCC right now, but I love picturing the potential new baby and thus far, that picture has a nameless little person in it. PLease help!

Thanks so much

This is great…Thank you!

It’s funny a lot of the names mentioned are names DH and I have tossed around. He is in love with Declan so I think he's waiting to like any another name hoping I'll start to love Declan as much as he does! It's a good name and it fits with Griffin, I just am not crazy about the nn Dec.

About some of the names mentioned:
Ashton/Asher- we like both, but are afraid they may be too popular. Also, we both have ‘A” first names, so we are sort of leaning away from “A” names, Although, we both really like Atticus. We're just worried that the family of Annie, Adam, Griffin and Atticus makes Griffin seem like the odd man out.
Wesley- I love it, he doesn’t
Callum- Again I love it- he doesn’t
Maddox- we both like, but are afraid of the Angelina Jolie connection.
Corbin- I just mentioned this yesterday to DH, he was wasn’t a big fan
Nolan- we both love it, but it’s the name of a child in the same small family day care we go to.
Ryder- like it but can't get past that it sounds too much like “ride her”
Oliver- I like that- I’ll run it by DH tonight
Jonas- Like that too, my dad, brother and nephew are Joe’s so I don’t know- on one hand I like it, on the other there maybe one too many “Jo” names in family already! Maybe a good mn choice though.
Colby- same problem as Nolan
Rafferty- we both really like this one and thought about using it for Griffin. I think we need to revisit this one!
Dashiel nn Dash- like this, although we weren’t sure if it went well with Griffin, but love the nn Dash.

Thanks for all the suggestion and keep them coming!

-Annie

p.s.- we've also tossed around Silas, Beckett, Sullivan and Grady
