Grrrr... Too close?

So I'm over 31 weeks pregnant and we've finally thought of a girls name we like....but of course there's a problem :)

My mother's name is Louisa (goes by Louise)
We named DD#1 Hannah Louise
DD#2 Kaitlin Suzanne (called Kate)

Now for #3 if it's a girl we like the name Eloise (will be called Ella or Ellie)

Is Eloise too close to DD#1 MN Louise?

TIA
Linda

If Hannah's FN were Louise, I would say WAYY too close, but as a mn it doesn't matter. Hannah, Kate, and Eloise are gorgeous as sisters, I *love* Eloise, so spunky.

I agree 100%. Eloise is adorable!

Unless you call Hannah by her first and middle names together a lot, I don't think it'd be a problem at all!

And I LOVE Eloise by the way:)

Since Louise is a mn and Eloise would be a fn -- not to mention the fact that the names do have separate meanings and origins, despite the similar sounds -- I think it's ok. I do love Eloise, btw. ;)

I don't think its really that close/ a problem because you are going to call here Ella or Ellie. Plus it's only your other daughters mn and not first

Hi,

I'd say go for it! I love that name, and you will mainly call her by her nickname, right? The middle name is so sledom used. Unless you call your older daughter by her full name all the time, right?

I think it's fine to use Eloise nn Ella.

You've probably already considered alternatives like Elise and Eliza, but I'll toss them out there anyway.

Not if it's a mn, unless Hannah uses her mn a lot.

Since one's a mn & one's a fn AND since you won't be using the -ouise name when you refer to/call your dd's names I say those names are fine as sibs. I hope I made sense!
