Has anyone heard these names?

I was looking at the SSA index yesterday and came across 2 names I found quite, um, interesting. Just out of curiosity, how would you pronounce Jamya? Is that Ja-maya? At first glance it looks like Jam-ya. Is this a "real" name?
Also, I found Belen. Is this like Helen with a B?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't know any Jamya's but I do know a Jama (pronouced Jay-Mah) so I can't really help you with that one.
Belen is a name used in latin america for girls, it is the Spanish translation for Bethlehem, it is particulary popular for Christmas babies. It is pronuounce bell-EN (with an emphasis on the final sylable).
Hope that helps.

AJ, enjoying life with C.

<My name is Marya, pronounced like Mariah. (ma-ry-a) So I'd be inclined to think its Jah-my-ah, but I could be wrong.
And for anyone who thinks it's cool to spell a name different, please don't. I love my name, Constance Marya, but every time someone calls me Mar-ya or Mara or Maria I really wish is was spelled Mariah. It's very rare for someone to pronounce my name correctly when reading it and even once they know me they still call me Mara for a while. I don't hate it, and it's kinda neat to have a unique name, but it gets very annoying at times.
So if you like this name, maybe consider spelling it Jamiah? I can easily see Jamya getting called Jam-ya quite often.
Well, since there is that singer Mya, I'd probably pronounce Jamya as Jah-MY-ah. That pronunciation sounds nice but I'm not too fond of the spelling.
Not sure about Belen. If it IS pronounced like "Helen", I don't like it at all...I'd prefer Beh-LENN (accent on the 2nd syllable, rather than the first).
Best of luck!!
