Helena, Edward, James and...?

Hi! I'm pregnant with g/b twins and I can't for the life of me decide on a girl's name! For the boy we've settled on James Andrew, and our other children are Helena Claire and Edward Thomas.
I like Lydia, but it doesn't feel quite right... other names we're considering are Rose, Isobel, Matilda and Eleanor but none of them seems to be 'the' name.

Which of these do you like best? If you have any suggestions I'd be more than glad to read them.

You chose beautiful names for your children! My favorite from your list would be Rose, except I think the ending is too matchy with James.

I love Eleanor, but I think it is too similar to Helena. Annora or Honora might be a better alternative.

Matilda is my favorite from your list and goes well with sibling's names.

James Andrew & Matilda Rose - beautiful combos

Isobel is my second favorite from your list.

Rosamund would sound great with your other kids names.

More suggestions:

Claudia
Eliza
Louisa
Cecilia
Antonia
Augusta
Aurelia
Miriam
Cordelia
Imogen
Charlotte

Well, as the mother of an Eleanor I have to say that's my favorite ;p While Helena & Eleanor are both linked as variations on Helen & some places list them both as meaning "light"- most people will not know that & they sound different enough to stand apart as sisters. I like that there would be the link with the meaning light. That is what sealed the deal for me with DD2- Lucy. Other names that go well with Helena, Edward & James...

Beatrix
Frances
Virginia
Alice
Genevieve
Charlotte
Georgia/Georgiana
Regina
Lucinda
Camille/a
Millicent
Clementine
Cordelia
Imogen

I like Rose the best out of your list....
However, I always like to make twin names similar (I know....most people DON'T like that)
I would like Amy with James for twins...or Jennifer, Jeanne, Juliette, Jessica.
I love Marjorie with James and I think it goes well with Helena and Edward too.

Good luck!

Wow thank you all for your replies! You've given me plenty of beautiful names to choose from!

Julie_v: the list is great, I love Violet but a friend has pointed out it's only a letter away from violent :(

Donna: I was seriously baffled when I saw Lydia Therese on your list, since it was on our list at some point!

Allietx529: is it the ss/zz sound at the end that puts you off?

Sharon: thank you for the list! My daughter has friends named Maisie and Daisy :)

Karnkar: I love Matilda Rose, but it seems every second girl's middle name these days is Rose :(

Mom2ella: thank you for the list, I think I might have fallen in love with Camille!

Brightsunnyday: the reason why I'm not very keen on similar twin names is because growing up I had identical twin friends named Stacey and Tracey, and I can't tell you how confusing it was for us!

Please keep those ideas coming!
