HI all!! I LOVE LOVE this board. I love names and a friend and I are convinced that if everyone checked names with us first there would be a lot less goofy names out there (teehee, just kidding). Anyway, I have a 5 1/2 year old and still think her name is one of the most beautiful I have ever heard (no regrets). She is SARAH ELEANOR (we call her Sarah Eleanor, SE, or Sarah E usually)(named in memory of 3 grandmothers---her Hebrew name is Sosha Elka). WE had a miscarriage prior to her and we chose the name YAAKOV LEV (which means healing heart) for that baby--we had a strong feeling the baby was a boy. I am sadly thinking we may not have any more kids for a variety of reasons, but have of course have names picked out for several more. My current favorites are THEODORE SAUL (Theo) (Saul was the name of my childhood rabbi) and ANNA CAROLINE (Caroline was the middle name of one of mine and one of DH's grandmothers).(ANNIE). Maybe someday I will get to use one. Any thoughts on the names. ANyway, it is fun to be here and especially fun to help everyone chose!

Hi!
I love your taste in names. Sarah Eleanor is a great name. I really, really like the name Sarah, but unfortunately, DH's cousin just had a daughter named Sarah Margaret a few months ago (and we see them a lot). Eleanor is my grandmother's name, and we are really close, so I have contemplated using Eleanor as a mn myself.
I don't have any children yet, but I always think about names (and force my dh to talk about names). I really like Theodore for a boy (Theo and Ted/Teddy are both nice nns), but DH is totally against it. I like Anna Caroline a lot. Caroline is my favorite name for a girl -- if I had a daughter tomorrow, I would name her Caroline.
Anyway, enjoy the board!
Christine
