Hello everyone! I am expecting baby # 2 in about 5 weeks and we still have no names. We don't know what we are having but for girls we have a couple :
Aria
Gianna
Nakeeta
need some input on these, also any suggestions for boys would be great cause we have none so far.

I like the name Gianna - very pretty, but I need some ideas as far as your tastes go - especially for boys. Is this your first baby?

Do you have a certain style of names your looking for?

this is baby # 2 our 1st is a girl and her name is Tavia. Sounds like Octavia just without the oc on it. We like names that are not so common, but not names that are so out there either.

thanks!!

I love Aria and Gianna! I agree with pp that I would much prefer the spelling Nikita to Nakeeta. Nakeeta just looks made up and reminds me of Akitas (a Japanese dog).

Some other suggestions:

- Anastasia
- Antonia
- Bianca
- Diana
- Giovanna
- Gillian/Jillian
- Martina/Martine
- Nadia
- Natalia/Natalya
- Natasha
- Regina
- Roberta
- Valentina

Hi, I like the name Giana the best as well as Gian for a boy. I also think the name Nico is really nice, not really sure what your taste is but I am trying to guess by looking at your girl names.

I think it's fine to use Keeta as a nn for Nakita or Nikita.

I agree with Jazz; nicknames don't have to come directly from the spelling of the full name! Lola is a traditional nickname for Delores, but the only part that comes directly from the name is the "Lo". There is absolutely no reason you couldn't use the nn Keeta for Nikita. You could spell the nickname Kita, if you want it to reflect the spelling of the proper name. It's pronounced the same way, after all.
