Hi,

I'm currently 27 weeks pg with a little boy. My DH and I have been going around for several months now and just can't come up with a name that we are in love with. Our DD is Elly (Ellynor Makena) named after my grandma and her middle name is the beach we got married on in Maui. We have agreed on a middle name of Wesley after DH's step-father who has been more like a father to him.

Here is our current list:

Andrew (Drew)
Carson
Jack
Quinn
Ryan

None of these names have any signifcance to us, they are just names that we don't hate. Thanks for all suggestions!!

Well, my son's name is Ryan , so I guess I am partial to that name, although it seems to be coming back inpopularity and I don't like that...

When I read your list, the one that stood out to me was Carson Wesley. I think that flows the best. Plus, Carson and Wesley are not all that common. It's too bad that it's something we have to consider when naming our children, but you at least can be sure with a name like yours, there won't be 5 of him in his kindergarten class!!!

Go for it! Nice name.

Hi, I love the name Elly. We actually have it picked for a girl, spelled Ellie though. You like the name Wesley and it is a family name what do you think of Wes for a given name? I love it. Actually our friends have a 2 year old boy named Wes and it fits him to a T. Good Luck

I think Andrew goes best with the mn, and I think it goes nicely with Elly as well. I love the name Ellynor on a little girl, btw, so classy and feminine.

The name I like best with Ellynor is Quentin, nn Quinn/Quent. Quentin Wesley sound handsome IMO and fits Ellynor style.

Good luck,

Hi!
I got to agree with Brooke about Quentin Wesley- nn Quinn. It sounds so handsome. I think Quentin is a good name for a grown man. Also in that way, you don't have to deal with popular names.

Perosnally, my surname starts with Quin so naturally I love the name.

BTW, such a special meaning you have for your little Elly! I love it.

I vote for Quinn. I think it goes really well with Wesley and matches sis Elly well.
