New to the group, want to start by saying "hello" :).

Recently dad & I have been discussing baby names. It's too soon to tell but I have a feeling it's a boy. I really thought we'd be more on the same page with our tastes as far as names for the new addition but I was sadly mistaken. ( His parents are sane, his name is Lucas Nathaniel. ) This is our 1st child & I feel like I'm pushing him out of the decision making by shooting down his ideas. Any

I don't care for Cash as a given name, but maybe Cassius nn Cash? I liked a previous poster's idea of Dashiell nn Dash.

I can't warm up to Stone, at all, even as a nickname; and nothing even comes to mind for which Stone might realistically be a good nickname.

I have to admit, though, Dax is really growing on me. A few months ago, I came across 3 baby Daxes, one after another -- two mentioned on name boards and one in a hospital's list of new babies' names. The more I thought about it, the more I liked it.

The Sadi spelling looks quite dated to me, actually, but Sadie is so cute, especially as a nickname (though I could see it as a gien name, too).

Good luck!
