My hubby and I cannot decide on a name for our son, due in september. We have narrowed it down to 3.
Isaac, Luke, &/or Elijah.

Isaac seems very religious to me...I could only see this name on a fundamentalist Christian or a devout Jew. I can't really see this name suiting a baby or young child. I picture an old man when I think of this name.
Elijah is also religious to me but less than Isaac. I think it's a nice name, but it only matches with certain surnames. I think this name is fine for any age.
Luke is probably my favorite out of the ones you have listed. I also like Lucas. I think this name is fine for any age as well.
I love Elijah best out of those three, it's a great name, and I love the nn Eli.
I like Luke too (love Luca), but I know so many of them, and I have bad association with Isaac.

I really love all 3 names, they are all great for a baby, child or adult, they all feel really timeless and i dont think you could go wrong with any of them.
Both Elijah and Isaac are Hebrew names and
I like Isaac and Luke the best. I think they're both good names that age well. If I had to pick, I'd say Isaac. It is very handsome.
I know a lot of little Elijah's/ Eli's, so I feel that it's becoming a bit of a trend.
Thanks belle_petite for the siggy!
All are great. Isaac feels the most religious, followed by Elijah. All the Elijahs I know go by Eli and a few of the Isaacs go by the Zach. Luke is my favorite of the three.
good luck,
Brooke

Well I have to say I like all three but am partial to Isaac because I have a 4 yr old named Isaac Joseph. We call him all kinds of nick names like Izzy or sometimes Izzy Joe. His name fits him perfectly and he's always laughing--hence the meaning of Isaac. I also have Luke or Lukas on my list if I have any other boys. Elijah is ok for me and I think it's not a fav of mine because there's an Eli in my sons class whos kinda mean but I used to like the name. BTW my Mom did not like the name Isaac and tried to talk me out of it and now she says it fits him perfectly and likes it now. Hope this helps.
