Help me find a name to match traits

I am really looking for a name that suggests specific kinds of traits,
I like Raven simply because when i hear it, i think of a dark, mysterious, penetrating person, but i don't particularly like the idea of calling my daughter after a bird whose name means ravenous...and its quite well known now.
Can you think of some less common names, that might have these slightly dark/mysterious or spiritual connotations? I suppose a little bit gothic really, but not 'trashy'.
I also like Aurora, but it does sound very fairytale and not a very strong person comes to mind.
Thank you!

Well go to the baby name finder page and type in what you want the name to mean and it will show you all the names with that meaning.

Just a thought, Good luck!!

Emerson as a girls name sounds exotic and mysterious to me.

Maybe some literary inspriration?

Morgan/Morgana - the name of King Arthur's half sister

Titania - the Queen of Fairies from A Midsummer Night's Dream

Rowan - the name of one of the Mayfair witches in Anne Rice's books...
