Help Me!! Name troubles

ok so I am having problems with names and I need help. I just cant really think of any boy names that I really like or that we can agree on.
I want the names to be somewhat unusual but not weird as well as the baby will be bi-racial (black/White) So i want something that is a good comprimise culturally!

For girl names my boyfriend really likes

Sarai
or
Adrianna (A-dree-on-uh)

the last name is Walker.

How do you feel about these names? I am undecided. I like both of them but I am unsure.
What about a MNs???

We find out if its a boy or girl in Beg. of Jan so I can start to narrow down soon.

My children are also biracial, as is our baby coming in May. I've had some success looking at name sites with African, Arabic, East Indian, and Native American names. If you do a search on Yahoo or Google, tons of baby name sites should pop up. I know what you mean about wanting to strike a balance between unusual and common.

For a girl, our favorite names are Sequoia and Talise. I like Sarai better than Adrianna, because you don't hear Sarai much!

For a boy, we've gone back and forth. I like Ty Charles. My fiance likes Kaleb. Our sons' names are Solomon, Nathaniel and Kevasi. I thought of a name ending in "i" for this baby too, like Tavari or Kymani, but I am liking just plain Ty more and more.

Hope that helps a little! Good luck!

Hi. I'm only on here to check out names for my friend who's pregnant... but I'm a mom of a 3 year old mixed girl (AA & White) too. Her name is Tiara LaFaye. I really love names that are a little different (mainly ones not on the top 100 lists), but also that they can spell and most teachers will be able to pronounce. Sounds like you're in the same boat that I was.

I looked up my old baby girl name list from 2001 when we were deciding and here's some of the ones that I had. (Also, I love both the names you chose). We didn't really even look at boy names because we knew that if it was boy it'd be a junior.

Sorry if this is too long, or if now I'm getting you more uncertain on what name to pick. Let me know what you decide on though. It's such a huge thing... naming a child! Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks so much for all those names. That was soo great to take so much time to help me! Ill let you know as soon as we find something. At this point i think the baby will never have a name but i have a little while and it will be easier after we know if its a boy or girl.

You're welcome! By the way, one of the reasons I like Kymani is because he is one of Bob Marley's sons. (I'm a big Marley fan.) Kymani has a CD or two out, but doesn't advertise his dad's name because he wants to be popular on his own terms. According to one of his sites, the name is pronounced kee-MON-ee.

We're really close! I'm due May 20. I'm really hoping for a girl this time, but boys are wonderful too.

Feel free to email me via my profile sometime!
