Our baby girl is due in just one week (or sooner) and my husband and I still can't agree on a name. PLEASE give your feedback if you have a chance~ THANK YOU!!!!

Here are our top picks:
Eliana (nickname: Ellie)
Kate
Addelyn (nickname: Addie)
Samantha (nickname: Sam or Sami)

Our other daughter's name is Alexandra and we call her Alex, so we'd like it to blend with that.

THANK YOU for your feedback!!!!

I think Alexandra and Samantha are the best match! Both pretty, feminine names with cute unisex nn's. My second choice would be Eliana, it is very pretty also.

Kate seems incomplete on its own, although Caitlin, nn Cate would be nice w/ Alexandra. Addelyn is just NMSAA, mostly the spelling. I like Adeline just fine, though. With Addison's popularity, though, the nn Addie might be overpopular for me personally.

Good luck to you!!!

Eliana (nickname: Ellie) - Love this name and the nickname
Kate - Nice name, I prefer Kate as a nickname for Katherine or Kathryn
Addelyn (nickname: Addie) - Sorry, this spelling looks funny and will be hard for your child. I do like Adeline, Adelaide, Adelle or Adella
Samantha (nickname: Sam or Sami) - Ok, other choices are better

I like Samantha best with Alexandra (also I probably like it best anyway). Long, feminine, not too "out there" names with cute, spunky nicknames - Alex and Sam. I think that matches really well.

Eliana is pretty and unusual but doesn't match as well.

I love Kate as a nickname for Katherine but NOT by itself, unless it's a MN. Katherine would work with Alexandra too. How about Samantha Kate?

Addie is a cute nickname but Addyson is too trendy and I'm not crazy about the Y instead of an I. It doesn't fit with classic and elegant Alexandra.

My vote is for Samantha, followed by Katherine NN Kate. (Katherine is much more classic and less trendy than Kaitlyn)

HTH - good luck with your new daughter!

Addelyn. but it might be too many a's. u could always be safe with a somewhat common name, spelled differently. my name is traicee nadean. yup and thats how it appears on my birth certificate. and my sister is tiphanyh athena. good luck. lemme know what you choose, no matter what!

Well I think Samantha goes best - to be Alex and Sam --- sooooo cute!

I really like the nn Ellie too - but the first choice is a great match!

Good luck on your delivery and best of luck choosing your little one's name

Eliana (nickname: Ellie) A less popular formal name for the popular nn Ellie. Eliana is feminine and has an Italian/Spanish-feeling to me. LOVE the nn Ellie!
Kate - LOVE Kate, prefer it as a nn to Katherine. I picture a high schooler names KAte who is athletic and somewhat preppy.
Addelyn (nickname: Addie) - this is my least favorite of your names
Samantha (nickname: Sam or Sami) - this is somewhat an "80's name" but I like it. Especially if you like the unisex nn's (Sam) which you must (Alex).

Sam and Alex go perfectly together. I like Samantha and Alexandra for you.

I agree. I think Samantha goes so well. My second choice would be Eliana, which is very nice for a girls name. I think Kate is too abrupt for a first name, especially with a longer sibling name and I really don't like Addelyn.
