Help- only 2 weeks to go!

I really appreciate all of the responses that I have received from previous posts, but as our date approaches I seem to be getting more frazzled than ever. I have had the fn of Audrey picked out for several months and DH agreed- we have just had lots of difficulty with the mn. Last night he tells me that he works with an older lady named Audrey and that is who he thinks about when he hears Audrey. Not what I needed to hear. I picked the name because I wanted something sweet, classy, and pretty, which is what I want him to think of when he hears the name. Also, I don't know of any other little girls named Audrey where we live.
With the middle name, I wanted to use a family name, but we couldn't agree on any. So we started using variations of family names. My favorite is Audrey Kate, but it doesn't sound good with our last name (Canada) and we both agree on that. I suggested Audrey Laurel (my grandmother's name is Lorene) but DH doesn't like that either. So then I decided to give up on using a family name and just use what I like. So I suggested Audrey Claire. DH does not think that goes with ln either. Finally last night, (after he told me that he thought of the old lady when he heard Audrey) he suggested Lauren as a mn. I wanted Laurel because it was more unique and it is a good spring name, but Lauren may be a good compromise. Sorry to ramble, but I am beginning to freak out a little. I need honest opinions. Audrey Lauren Canada - WDYT?

I think it is nice: Audrey Lauren Canada.

If you still feel that it is not the "right" fit.. Here are a few variations for you..

Audrey Lara Canada

Audrey Loren Canada - pronounced the same as Lauren

Audrey Leigh Canada

Audrey Lorelei Canada

Audrey Larisse Canada

Audrey Laramie Canada

I do like Audrey Lauren Canada much better than the K-sound options (though I loved Laurel for you). ;)

You might also consider Audrey Loren -- this spelling -- or Audrey Lore to honor your grandmother (the "e" in Lore is actually pronounced, but I have heard it said "lor" as well). Just a thought!

I like it. Audrey and Lauren are two of my favorite names and I think it's a good combo.

I don't think of Audrey as old ladyish at all, BTW.

I think Audrey Lauren is a lovely name for a little girl, and I do not get an image of old ladies at all when I think about it! :-)

I love the combo Audrey Lauren! And I personally do not think of little old ladies when I hear the name Audrey. I think of Audrey Hepburn!...and a little girl I babysat for (Audrey Brooke). I think Audrey is sweet, classy, & pretty!
