My husband and I are needing help in selecting a baby name. We both have common names and went to school with several people with our same name.

I think if you want something 'different' you should keep looking... alot of the names you listed are pretty popular/trendy right now like Peyton and

My favorites from your list are Anniston and Raegan for girls and Elijah for a boy.

so i'm not the only carly who gets carly simon comments...

to the OP: all of those girl names you posted are either extremely popular or are becoming so, with the exception of "anniston", which i agree with alaina_in07 wholeheartedly that people are going to think she was named for jennifer aniston. even raegan is growing rapidly in popularity, with the trend of boys names for girls on rise.

for the boys names, most of those are either too popular or NMS.

i would list some suggestions, but they're all repeats of names that have already been listed.

If you are looking for unusual don't go with Noah or Riley. I know MANY.
Go the the social security site to cross reference your names, it gives you the most used children's names for every year!! My husband and I have been doing this for 3 months trying to find our name for our son.

I like Raegan for the girl and Elijah for the boy. Addison is becoming very popular and it is also a disease of the adrenal glands. I'm not trying to be rude by telling you that, but it's something you may want to know. Good luck in choosing your name!
