We are expected our latest addition via c-section in the begining of December (no date set yet). We don't know what we were are having, want to be surprised. We have a daughter, Alyssa Kay, who will be 2 1/2 when the baby is born. For a boy we are pretty set on Andrew John, and a girl, Aubrey Lynn (or Leigh). We would like to have the nn Bree for Aubrey, yet I'm having a hard time deciding on the spelling..any suggestions?

I say just use Aubrey nn Bree. Imo, the spelling of the nn doesn't have to be contained within the name. I think your daughter will thank you for not complicating the spelling of her name just to include a nn.

I love Aubrey, btw. :) It was near the top of my list for girls before I had ds.

I'd stick with Aubrey, nn Bree, just as you stated. Technically, the only time the spelling of a nn really comes into play is if the child chooses to use it in school, so you have a few years before it would become an issue (and assuming she'd go by Aubrey anyway, it wouldn't be problem even then).
