Help! Stuck on Popular Name!

My husband's name is Daniel. So if a boy, we had decided 100% on Aiden because it's my husband's name mixed up (exept the "L" which would be in the middle name... Lane). I also loved Aiden because I had never heard it before and thought it must be SO unique. After reading this message board I realize Aiden is to be one of the most popular names. Now I don't if I should change it or not.

I have a 3 year old Aidan and had no idea that it was so popular when we chose it. I would not change a thing, no matter how many other Aidan/Aiden's are running around the playground.

Remember, that even though it is popular, there are more names than ever getting used for boys and you really won't hear it each and every day.

Use whatever name you want- this is your first true choice and gift for your son!

You just have to go with what you like.

I have:

Nicholas Joseph
Brian Andrew
Matthew Cameron
Taylor Samantha
Connor Riley
Brady Aidan

I'm expecting boy #6 in March and I think we're going with Liam (no middle name yet!)

I know some are very popular but I love the names so we used them.

I think it is quite a popular name, but since it has special meaning to you and your dh, i'd say use it! Then your son has braging rights:) Good Luck!

I have loved the name Emma for years and years but it became sooo popular that I would be reluctant to name my daughter Emma now. I'm not sure why it would bother me, maybe it's because I'm not a trend follower.
