Thank you all for all of the suggestions, you have no idea how much help it's been! After much discussion with my husband we've narrowed down our choices. We want a name that's not all that common and that goes with our daughter's name (Sally). Here's what we came up with:
Jill (definately not Jillian!)
Irene
Daphne (ends with "ee," so maybe not)
Jane/June/Janet
Edward (nickname would be Ned)
Dennis (my husband thinks this is kind of a sissy name, but I really like it)
George

Oh! I love Irene! Jane or June would be great as well, but Irene is my top pick.
For a boy, Edward nn Ned is just PERFECT with Sally!

I like Jill or June!
Edward gets my vote for a boy. Dennis would be my second choice. Definitely not a sissy name!
Edward gets my vote for a boy. Sally and Ned are perfect together in a unique 1950s early reading primer sort of way. I love it!
For a girls name, I like Jane and June equally well. Irene would also be a great choice. The only one I really don't like is Jill. "Sally and Jill" immediately makes me think of sisters Sally and Gillian from Alice Hoffman's Practical Magic.
