I'm posting my current list of names so you all can see my style and give opinions plus hopefully have some suggestions. None have middle names but I'm 99% positive the mn for a girl will be Marie (family name). No clue on the boys mn except maybe Glenn (family name)
-Girls
Raven
Rosalie
Naomi (my fav right now)
Violet
Juliana
Penelope
Gwyneth (tied for fav)
Genevieve
Vivian
Anneliese
Jasmine
Felicity
Dahlia
Clarissa
-Boys
Shane
Conrad or Konrad nn Kurt (my fav right now)
Carter
Hugh
Everett
Leland
Toby
Jonas
Julian
Corbin/Korbin
I like names with german roots but not the real ruff sounding ones. I also mostly prefer the german pronounciation for the names that apply.
Thanks for looking, and comments welcome!!

Ooh, I love your list. Here are my thoughts...
-Girls
Raven -- my least favorite from your list. It just doesn't do anything for me
Rosalie -- lovely
Naomi -- like this one a lot. It's pretty and not overly popular.
Violet -- pretty, feels a little trendy right now
Juliana -- nice
Penelope -- LOVE this. I was just commenting the other day about what a great name this is and how I never hear it. I really love it.
Gwyneth -- nice
Genevieve -- pretty
Vivian -- love this. it's in my top three
Anneliese -- pretty
Jasmine -- I'm not a fan of this one, having heard it on one too many exotic dancers. I think the others on your list are nicer
Felicity -- love this too (in my top 5)
Dahlia -- very pretty and different. I like this a lot.
Clarissa -- okay, not my favorite from your list, but it's nice.
My favorites are Penelope, Vivian, Felicity and Dahlia. I especially love Penelope and Dahlia because I so rarely hear them. Naomi is really lovely too though.
-Boys
Shane -- okay. Not bad, but nothing special
Conrad or Konrad nn Kurt -- love this! It's different and very cool. I prefer Conrad, but the Konrad spelling doesn't bother me
Carter -- unless it's a family name, I dislike it. I'm not a fan of the "use someone else's surname for the heck of it" trend
Hugh -- very nice and unexpected
Everett -- love this
Leland -- okay, but not a favorite
Toby -- cute as a nn for Tobias, but I don't love it on its own
Jonas -- love this
Julian -- LOVE this! It's my favorite on your list.
Corbin/Korbin -- Love this too. (definitely prefer the Corbin spelling here)
My top three for you are: Conrad, Julian and Corbin. They are fantastic.
What great lists!
Rosalie, Naomi, Felicity, and Genevieve are on my "if we ever have another girl" list right now, and I think they're all fantastic choices, and most have great nickname options, too. I have a Julianna, nn Annie, so I like Juliana and Anneliese a lot as well. I've thought about Dahlia before, and I think it's a beautiful, yet unusual name that I wouldn't be brave enough to use, but I'd love to hear it on someone else.
Jasmine and Raven are probably my least favorites -- they just don't have as much character, IMO, as some of your other choices. I probably wouldn't use Clarissa either just because it's so similar to so many other names out there -- Carissa, Larissa, Marissa, etc. There are also just so many "K" names among the young girls -- Kayla, Kelsey, Kiara, etc., and I think it would get lost in the shuffle.
Your boy list is a little less my style, but they're all good, solid names. My personal favorites are Everett, Jonas, and Julian, and I like Conrad/Konrad (nn Kurt) a lot for you. My least favorites are Leland (b/c I worry that it will sound feminine next to the multitude of girl "L" names) and Toby (b/c my SIL's dog is named Toby, so I have a hard time seeing the name on a person).
Good luck making a final decision! You have a wonderful selection to pick from!
Stephanie, mom to Megan Joy (nn Meg) and Julianna May (nn Annie)
Here's what I think:
-Girls
Raven- Like but SIL has dibs on it
Rosalie- not my fav.
Naomi- Very cute
Violet- Don't like at all
Juliana- this is my name, so of course I hate it.
Penelope- love
Gwyneth- like alot
Genevieve- I love the nn Genny
Vivian- I LOVE THIS NAME! but dh hates it so he vetoed it w/ both our girls
Anneliese- Like but don't love
Jasmine- I just think of the cartoon character
Felicity- I like it but it would be hard for a little girl to say and it doesn't sound very good as an adult name either.
Dahlia- I don't know, this one is iffy
Clarissa- don't like at all
-Boys
Shane- like ok
Conrad or Konrad nn Kurt- like it
Carter- really like it
Hugh-not my fav.
Everett-love
Leland-my nephews mn, I love it
Toby- I think this one is more appropriate for a dog than a person
Jonas- don't like
Julian-like ok
Corbin/Korbin-to trendy
all in all I like your choises! you and I have similar taste.
My favorites:
Naomi
Gwyneth (tied for fav)
Genevieve
Vivian
-Boys
Shane
Hugh
Everett
Toby
Corbin/Korbin
Hello. Welcome. This is my brand of fun!
Here are my comments. You're pre-warned. I'm quite opinionated.
With mn Marie (thumbs up to the family mn)---
-Girls
Raven- The sound of the name alone is beautiful. My problem? I'm not sure if I like it on a child with black hair. I'm definitely not sure I like it on a child with any other color of hair! If this doesn't bother you, keep it on the list. Very pretty with Marie.
Rosalie- Pretty. Doesn't work with Marie.
Naomi (my fav right now)- A bit rhymey with Marie. I do like the name a lot! It's recognizable without being super-popular.
Violet- Lovely name. Lovely with Marie. Keep it on the list.
Juliana- See comment on Violet. Only one problem- the -ana names in general are being used to death...
Penelope- Really? I LOVE this name! It is old, old, old. It's always been in use but it has never had a single decade of heavy usage. Gorgeous. Scratch the mn Marie though, too similar.
Gwyneth (tied for fav)--- I don't dislike the name. I don't love it. I'm seeing it on a lot of moms' "short lists..." Plus, I just associate it so strongly with the actress, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Genevieve- BEAUTIFUL~
Vivian- Ditto!!!
Anneliese- We're on a roll now. Three beauties in a row! I would take Anneliese over Juliana any day, if it comes down to "ann" names!
Jasmine- I like this name. I like the elegant Yasmine better. The ending -mine doesn't flow well into Marie.
Felicity- You're after my heart. Another fantastic name. Not great with Marie.
Dahlia- My favorite flower name. So pretty. So unusual. Works nicely with Marie.
Clarissa- Very pretty. Many people don't realize this is also a very old name.
Ginger
-Girls
Raven -- nms
Rosalie -- like this a lot
Naomi (my fav right now) -- love it
Violet -- like it
Juliana -- like it, but prefer Julianne, Juliet(te) or simply Julia
Penelope -- I see the word "envelope" every time ;)
Gwyneth (tied for fav) -- love it!
Genevieve -- love it! (nice list LOL) Since you like these last two, you might also like Guinevere, Gwendolen or Gwennor/Gwenora.
Vivian -- love this one too
Anneliese -- very nice
Jasmine -- nmsaa
Felicity -- love it
Dahlia -- like the name, but just saw the movie
Clarissa -- "... explains it all" is the first thing that comes to mind. You might like Laurice, though ;)
-Boys
Shane -- it's ok ... seems a bit dated, but that may be regional
Conrad or Konrad nn Kurt (my fav right now) -- prefer Conrad, which I like a lot
Carter -- nice, but not my favorite from your list
Hugh -- like it, but I'd use it as a nn (an unconventional one, I'll admit ... probably for Henry or Ewan)
Everett -- love it. You might also like Garrett, Emmet, Emery or Elliott
Leland -- I actually like this a lot
Toby -- I like Tobias, but not Toby, if that makes sense
Jonas -- nice
Julian -- nice
Corbin/Korbin -- Corbin is great, but I don't like the K spelling much
Nice list!

My favs of your list
Violet
Penelope
Gwyneth (tied for fav)- I just think of Gwyneth Paltrow, I like her mom's name Blythe
Felicity
-Boys
Conrad or Konrad nn Kurt
Carter - only if a family name
Hugh
Toby - only if a nn for Tobias
WoW!! Thank you all for your opinions, I'm flattered that you all like most of the list. I do prefer older names that come with merit and are very strong. I think a winner for both sexes is in that list as well. I keep wanting to add to it but I'm not satisfied with much else. I do have to take Jasmine, Raven, Toby, Hugh, and Julian off the list as DH has vetoed them. They weren't my fav anyway, except I've liked the name Raven for years and years now but I've come to like Dahlia and some of the others much more so I'm ok with it.
Thanks again, especially from Ginger!
Great list of names....just one thing.
