Horrible Spellings!!!

Does anyone else cringe at ways of misspelling names-just to be different? I don't hate all the different spellings, my Hannah is spelled Hanna, but my sister's friend recently had a baby girl named Cadence. I love this name by the way. However, she spelled it Kaydance. It really made it cringe. What a way to mess up a beautiful name!
Does anyone else come across this problem?

Some of the creative spellings make me cringe.
I've seen a few too. A little different is fine, but some are very strange. A few that come to mind:
Jessieka
Bronzeson
Kaylub
Maddysyn
As I've posted before, the WORST was someone who wanted their daughter to be "different" so they named her Izabehl. On the playground, she'll still be the 20th Isabelle!
This is my biggest naming pet peeve! Especially when it's done to make a super popular name "different." All
LOL...when I named DD #1 Niamh I had so many people telling me I had to spell it phonetically because no one would ever be able to say it. To me Neeve and Niamh are just not the same name *at all*. Niamh is full of history and IMO beautiful plus I adore the Irish mythology (Niamh of the Golden Hair...my Niamh has golden hair too :)
ANYWAY....people think I am being inconsistent when I vent about the random mispellings of names given my children's names (Rhys, Niamh and Isla)...but I didn't make up those spellings...they are the originals for the names (although Isla can also be spelled Ayla or Aila depending on which people/culture you are pulling it from). My thought is that if you want a different name you can find one easily so there isn't any need to butcher a very popular name to make it different KWIM?

Rhys, Niamh, Isla and Deirdre!Honestly, it makes the parents look like idiots, and eventually the kids once they are grown.
Out of my 4, everyone mispronounces my 3rd child's name which is Agustin (pronounced Augustine). Both Agustin and Augustine is the correct spelling, we just used the traditional spanish spelling and is a family name.
Even if you look up St. Augustine Florida you will find it spelled St. Augustine and San Agustin.
