TAHL-ee-uh (or TAH-lee-uh). Tah sounds like call or fall.

I don't agree with the pp, I think the last 2 syllables are merged, so it's TAHL-yuh. That's how both Tahlia's/Talia's that I know pronounce it. Like the flower, dahlia...it's not Dah-lee-uh, it's dahl-yah. Maybe that's just how we say it in the south.

I only pronounce it w/ 2 syllables, like TAHL-yuh.

I agree. I've only heard it Tahl-yah also. I think it's much prettier pronounced that way.

Yep, I'd say TAHL-yuh, too.

I can relate to what your saying. I say dahlia like you are saying so I guess that's how I want to say Tahlia, I really like this pronunciation.

Are you saying 'tahl' like tall or like pal? I want to say it 'tal-yuh', the beginning rhyming with pal.

Thanks for your replies. I found my answer, I think. Tahlia, Talia, Taliah and Talya are pronounced 'Tal-yah'. Plus it is a short form for Natalia so that gives me my answer right there. I guess if I had related Talia to Natalia I would have figured out the pronunciation myself.

Terra.
