How popular is the name Grayson? How many do you know or know of? There is 1 on my son's soccer team so he's 6-7 yrs old. That's the only one I know. TIA!

Wow, really? I would never think of Grayson to be a girl's name. Interesting.

I know 2, both girls. One spelled Gracyn (she's 2) and another Graysen (she is 5).

That's interesting that you brought this up. The other day I was also at a soccer game and heard them cheering for a boy named Grayson (8 yr. old) and I thought it sounded feminine. Am I the only one that thinks this way. I know a boy named Graydon so maybe that's why it seems feminine to me. I like the name though. I would end up calling him Gray I think.

I do like Gray/Grey as well. Hmmm, maybe I should just consider Gray instead of Grayson. I think that's why I was considering Grayson, *I* could call him Gray. I'm not a fan of nicknames so I think that's something to think about.

I don't think Grayson sounds feminine but I can see how you'd think that with the 'sss' sound. I had Grayden on my list at one time and preferred it to Grayson but now I like Grayson better. My tastes change so much, I just can't wait until I'm pregnant, lol. Who knows what I'll like then.

I remember going through this same process you are. Be sure and save your lists because thirty years later they are fun to go back and read. My children always ask me what my other choices where when I picked their names. I can't believe how much our tastes change in a short amount of time. It has been fun watching everyone working through their favorites. Lists have changed so much just since I started watching the board. It will be fun to see what you actually name your baby when the time comes. Thanks.

Tanya Tuckers son is named Grayson. I really like it for a boy I've never thought of it for a girl.
