I haven't heard either name in this area at all - kids or adults, so not to popular.

I live in North Texas, and I've known of a lot of dogs with the name Cash, also! lol. Johnny Cash is a big deal around here. ;-)

To the OP, I actually like Cash for a child a lot better than Clayte. If Clayton were a choice, I'd have gone for that.

I know one person named Cash and it's short for Cassius - and he's somewhere between 40 and 50

328 on the SSA is actually very low

i would definitely go with Cash over Clayte. I have never met anyone named Cash. i really like it! Clayte looks like its missing its second half.....like a typo or something. Cash is great. thats my pick :)

Don't like Clayte, Cash is better.

Don't know anyone with the first name Cash....just as a last name.

hello!! clayte is certainly unique-ive heard clayton or clay, but never clayte. but-i like cash too. its another name thats pretty unique. i havent heard it here in michigan at all. ive heard it once-and thats cash warren-jessica albas hubby. and thats the only place ive ever heard it. it might be 328 on the list, but i think violet ios ranked somewhere in the 400's on there and my daughter is the only violet i have run across in real life. i have "met" someone online and her dd was violet, but thats it. if its unique in your area and you like it-then use it!!
