how to spell NN?
| Thu, 05-04-2006 - 3:41pm |
Now that my DS, Macaiah, is approaching 1 month old, I am trying to think of how to spell the potential nn (prn Ma-kai). I just saw that an actor on ER (not a show I watch) has this name but spelled Mekhi (ln Phifer)-- I really don't like that spelling though. Any ideas?
What looks the best? Please help!!
TIA

Borlänge is nice, I have
Why thanks for the offer!!! I would love to try some good food new to me!! Unfortunately, I've got no Swedish relatives to search for but that would have been fun to look into.
I did see that sometimes Greenland and even Iceland (if I'm not mistaken) can be considered Scandinavia-- so I guess that's kinda like talking about "America" in the broadest sense and including the North and South continents.
Have you ever been to the U.S.? I remember my Swedish friend about pooped her pants when she saw people at gas (fuel) stations smoking cigarettes (not as they refueled but as they walked into the building). Also she was freaked out because some of our roads have these rumble strips (grooves in road) to alert that a stop sign is approaching, and when you drive over them they vibrate the car and kinda make a load "rumble" noise. She thought the car ran over someone!! Just some good "Swedish-influenced" memories that always make me smile.
I am sure you have plenty of knowledge of American food-- nothing too exciting there-- Apple pie and corn on the cob, maybe? The offer is returned if you are ever in my area as well-- please stop by, and I'll see what I can find for dinner!! And you can put a face to Macaiah (since this is a name board, I had to tie that in somehow!!LOL)

Rumble strip exist here to now a day and no, you are not allowed to smoke at gas station here in Sweden, we are bit fanatic when it comes to safety. One
