How will I ever choose?

I don't know how I'm ever going to choose between these 3 names: Kyleigh Brynn, Taylor Brynn, or Kamryn Blake. It's like the hardest decision EVER! I thought I wanted to narrow it down to 3 choices, but now it's too hard to pick just one! I like Kyleigh because my middle name is Leigh & it's a cute name, but I can't picture an adult w/ that name. And is it too cutsie & little girlish? I can, however, picture Taylor or Kamryn on a name plate somewhere in an office. Anyone have any suggestions on how to pick (other than drawing them out of a "hat")? And please vote in the poll I have up.

I love Kamryn Blake BUT for a boy, my son is Cameron Drake. I really like Kyleigh and can picture that on an adult. Taylor is a nice name too, but I've just known too many of them.

good luck to you!

I agree with the pp. The three names have very different styles/feels to them, so maybe that could help you decide.

Kyleigh is definitely my favorite. It's by far the most feminine (which I prefer for a little girl), and I think it would grow up with her fine. If she wanted, she could always shorten it to just Leigh or Kyle (again, unisex, but at least she'd have an option about it with this one).

Taylor would be my second choice. It's unisex, but has been for quite some time (and I've never actually met a boy one - only Tylers - so you're probably pretty safe there). As the pp mentioned, though, I have met a lot of little girl Taylors, so if you want something less popular I'd go with Kyleigh (only known one of these, and she was about 14).

I like the name Cameron (spelled this way) in theory, but it's not one I can like when talking about an actual child, if that makes sense (and even then, I think I prefer it for a boy). Never could get past the meaning (crooked nose, if I remember correctly), and it strikes me as a trendy Hollywood-type name that someone like Cameron Diaz (sp?) can pull off, but that I wouldn't want for my own little girl. I think the altered spelling Kamryn only adds to this (although I get that you're probably trying to make it more feminine, but you shouldn't have to). Make sense?

Anyway, jmho. HTH! :)

I would eliminate Kamryn right away. Its extemely trendy, especially with the weird spelling, and it is the name that i CANT see on an adult. I think Kyleigh is the nicest choice for sure. Taylor is nice as well and I like it a lot. Maybe keep all 3 names in mind and then go with what feels best when she is born.

Thanks for your response. As for Kamryn, I was kind-of trying to make it more feminine, but also I spelled it like that because you don't pronounce the name the way it is spelled the other way (Cameron: cam-er-on). When you say it, you say it like "cam-ren". So, I thought you should spell it the way it sounds when you say it. Although I like the "K" better than the "C", & "Y" better than "E", so I changed those.

This is so confusing! I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to choose.

Taylor makes the best first impression, in my opinion. Kayleigh and Kamryn are both too trendy and will be a pain to spell.

The reason you can't imagine Kyleigh on an adult is the name hasn't been around long enough for there to be adults

I know a few (without that eigh ender) in their early 20s.

I usually am against the eigh enders, but I guess in your case because your trying to make it be for your middle name of Leigh, I'll concede

I personally am so-so Taylor. I'm not much into unisex names

ditto for Kamryn, but I could handle that spelled Camryn -for some reason that one just doesn't look right with a K

as far a choosing

my order would be Kyleigh, Camryn, Taylor

good luck
