just the fact that you have to ask means it will get mispronounced

if you want the AWNA sound - I suggest you name her Lilliana, all one word

if you want the anna sound I suggest you spell it Lily Anna if you mean for that to be the middle name

Ah-na. Whether it's by itself or at the end of a longer name, it's ah-na. Just my two cents! :-)

I would pronounce it like it rhymes with banana.
Perhaps you should try Liliana instead of two separate names: Lily Ana

I pronounce it AH-nah. Lily Ana is beautiful, btw.

I would pronounce it Ah-na but the rest of the world probably will rarely get that right. My daughter's name is Juliana pronounced Ah-na but when she is called at the dr's office and places like that they almost always pronounce it with a long A sound.

You mean they can actually read Juliana? ;-) My DD's name is Julianna, and we always get Julia or some other Juli- name at the ped. I never would have thought it would be so hard. :-P (Oh, and we purposely spelled it with two n's b/c DH wanted it to be pronounced Juli-ann-uh rather than Juli-ah-nuh, and we call her Annie for short.)
