I came across the name Isan/Ison. I want to pronounce it like Isaac but with an 'in' at the end. I say Isaac like 'eyez-ick'. I prefer the spelling Isan over Ison but I also thought of the spelling Isaan so the proper pronuncation would get across. WDYT? 'Eyez-in'

Ethan, Logan, and Isan
or
Ethan, Logan, and Isaan

Mommy to Ethan Robert and Logan Ryley

Edited to correct a spelling mistake. :)

I like it... it sounds like a name but then a little unique as well. I agree and prefer the "-an" ending, but still up in the air with the double or single "a". Don't want people to assume its a typo for Isaac, but the double "a" is kinda cool looking too.

I quite like it! It's a bit different a different take on Isaac (a name I'm not fond of) I tried searching for Isan on a baby name site, didn't find it, but did find Ihsan - which I would think is pronounced the same (Eye-Zan)?. It is a boy's and girl's name is used in Arabic. Its source is an Arabic expression meaning "Good deed." I like the meaning :)

I don't like the name Isaac either. Isan I really like, though. It's amazing how switching one letter in a name can make them sound so different. Dh likes the spelling Isan over Isaan. We'll see, I still like Garren very much as well. Thanks for the feedback!
